LEHIGH CLASSIC 2007 DAY ONE
(DECEMBER 6, 2007) 9:11 | The host Central Valley Falcons, behind the 21-point performance of Paolo Mancasola, defeated Alameda 63-51 at the 14th annual Lehigh Classic Basketball tournament at CVHS. The win means the Falcons will face the Shasta Wolves Friday night at 6:30 p.m. as the Wolves defeated Redwood High School of Larkspur 57-51. Other winners included Ponderosa with a 48-22 win over banged up West Valley, who was without a couple of their top players, including Garhett Parent, who sustained an injury in a Tuesday night game. He’ll be out for a month. And what may have been the most exciting game of the night, Liberty Christian, which went scoreless in the first quarter, falling behind 13-0, came back to defeat Amador in overtime 57-53.
