(NOVEMBER 2, 2007) 8:08 | Yreka’s Manny Barragan ran for 152 yards and scored a pair of 40-yard touchdowns as the host Miners defeated the banged up Central Valley Falcons on Friday 34-7 in the final regular season game for both teams. The Miners finished in third place in the Northern Athletic League with a 3-2 record (7-3 overall). The Falcons placed fourth with a 2-3 record (4-6 overall). With the loss, however, Central Valley is forced to make another trip to the north Siskiyou County city on Friday as the two teams face off in the first round of the Northern Section Division II playoffs.
