The Cougars (3-0) scored three times in the first 45 seconds of the game on their way to a 43-7 win over Central Valley (0-3). Despite the loss, the Falcons looked good and showed improvements in a few areas: a pretty good performance by the defense, a couple of nice catches by wide receiver Garry Everett from quarterback Brandon Piercy - including C.V’s only touchdown - and few, if any, turnovers or penalties.
