(OCTOBER 31, 2008) 6:20 | The Fall River Bulldogs downed the Etna Lions by the score of 46-6 to take over the second place position in the Shasta Cascade League standings. But it may have come at a high price. Fall River quarterback Taylor Sloat sustained a knee injury during the second quarter and may be out for the rest of the season. Jon Neugebauer took over the signal calling duties. Fall River (4-1 SCL, 7-2) used its potent ground attack to carry the team to victory. The Bulldogs chewed up 507 yards of real estate led by Ryan Stephenson with 228 on 22 carries. The game started as an action packed contest, but Etna (4-2 SCL, 7-3) couldn’t maintain the pace and soon fizzled. Video by Val Lakey
