(NOVEMBER 21, 2008) 15:58 | The Division V title game was a rematch between the Fall River Bulldogs and Maxwell Panthers. Just like last year, Fall River was the victor this time with a 28-0 win to bring home the Northern Section hardware. Fall River sophomore quarterback Colton VanRiet got the call in the second quarter and led the team on three scoring drives to give the Bulldogs a 22-0 halftime lead in what was for the most part a defensive battle. Fall River held Maxwell to a mere 110 yards of total offense and forced four turnovers. “It was a good night for the Bulldogs,” Fall River coach Todd Sloat said. “It wasn’t without its challenges though.” Video by Craig Harrington and Todd Brown
