MERCY WARRIORS AT BURNEY
(SEPTEMBER 5, 2008) 10:37 | The Burney Raiders evened their record to 1-1 with a 26-18 victory over the visiting Mercy Warriors in a non-league matchup Friday. The Warriors scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to make the score 20-18 with 3:50 remaining on the clock. The Raiders were facing a fourth-and-six from the 46-yard-line when Raider coach Clint McClurg called for a fake punt. Brett Shoemaker took the direct snap around the right side all the way to pay dirt for the final score. Video by Richard Allan.
