FALL RIVER & QUINCY SOCCER SHOOTOUT
(SEPTEMBER 6, 2008) 1:27 | The Fall River Bulldogs defeated the Quincy Trojans 3-1 in an overtime shootout to take third place at the U-Prep Small School soccer tournament Saturday in Redding. Quincy’s Adam Hintz made the first penalty kick (not shown in video) to put the Trojans up 1-0. But Bulldog goalie Everarado Rodriguez would stop the next three Trojan attempts to secure the victory. Rodriguez didn’t allow a single goal in four games of regulation play. Edgar Alvarez, Pedro Aceves and Esequiel Venegas made their penalty kicks in order for the Bulldogs. Video by Richard Allan.
